DESCRIPTION:At the Helmut Schmidt Schule Bremen I will present my experienc
 es as an FSA. The event will be in English via Zoom and I will talk about 
 my experiences with Erasmus+\, my time in Germany and my experiences at sc
 hool and with the program. \n\nAs a small introduction\, here is the appl
 ication for a foreign language assistant at our Helmut Schmidt School:\n\n
 Please justify and explain why and for what purpose it makes sense to use 
 it at your school or in your lessons:\n\nThe foreign language assistant is
  trained in various courses (higher commercial school\, one-year preparato
 ry vocational school\, commercial school) and apprenticeships (office mana
 gement clerk\, sports and fitness clerk\, event clerk\, ...) in a team\, m
 ainly in English and compulsory elective courses deployed\, supports proje
 cts and will get to know the special features of a vocational school (e.g.
  dual system). At the request of the foreign language assistant\, it is of
  course possible to work in professional learning fields or in interdiscip
 linary areas.\n\nAs a certified European school\, the foreign language ass
 istant will support our school in the organization and implementation of E
 urope Day and Europe Week and will be able to contribute their own ideas. 
 In addition\, some of our mostly adult students are prepared for various i
 nternships abroad. In addition to the foreign language preparation\, the f
 oreign language assistant can also prepare the students for another cultur
 e and report on their own experiences. Furthermore\, the Helmut Schmidt Sc
 hool cooperates with foreign partner schools (Netherlands\, Slovakia\, Den
 mark\, Norway) within the framework of Erasmus+ projects. Here there is th
 e opportunity to support teachers in existing projects or to accompany gro
 ups of students on an exchange in a partner country.\n\nIn addition to the
  teaching and school organizational experience\, we can enable the foreign
  language assistant to participate in various training courses and project
 s in order to prepare the foreign language assistant for the job\, e.g. B.
  to prepare as a teacher.
